Dr. Marthe Wildsmith is a compassionate veterinarian dedicated to whole-horse medicine and individualized care. A graduate of the University of Calgary (2019), she has worked in both general equine and mixed animal practice, developing a well-rounded clinical perspective and a deep respect for the diverse roles animals play in their families’ lives. Marthe is passionate about solving complex problems, aligning treatment plans with owner values and expectations, and ensuring fairness and advocacy for the horse. In 2022, she expanded her clinical approach by becoming a Lazaris Nerve Release Practitioner, deepening her understanding of the nervous system’s role in lameness and compensatory patterns. She finds this integrative lens both fascinating and transformative in practice.
