Maeve Bandt
Founder, Frankly Sound Equine
Maeve Bandt is a passionate voice in the evolving landscape of equine care—one that puts the horse’s well-being first in every decision. With a background in ballet, yoga, sports and a lifetime working with horses, Maeve blends movement, mindfulness, and biomechanics into a holistic practice focused on lameness prevention, soundness, and deep partnership.
Through her work in training, myofascial release, and energetic support, Maeve helps horses move with greater ease and clarity while empowering their humans to become informed, intuitive advocates. As a Balance Through Movement Method apprentice trainer & certified Lazaris Nerve Release Practitioner, her approach is rooted in education and collaboration, supporting horse owners who feel called to question the norms of traditional care and step into a more conscious, horse-led relationship.
Maeve is a committed lifelong student and an advocate for industry transparency. She champions ethical horsemanship, open referrals, and a community-based approach to wellness. Whether she’s helping a horse release tension in the body or guiding a client toward a deeper understanding of biomechanics, her goal is always the same: to create connection, clarity, and long-term vitality for both horse and human.
Maeve believes the future of horsemanship lies in the hands of guardians willing to listen more closely, question more boldly, and choose what feels right—even when it challenges the status quo. For her, horses are not only partners in performance but powerful teachers of presence, trust, and truth.
