Guliz Unlu is the founder of Equuarius, a multidimensional philosophy that honors the horse as a sovereign observer—not a healer—and centers the horse-human relationship around presence, freedom of choice, and ethical partnership over performance.

With roots in hunter/jumper, equitation, and starting young horses, Guliz’s path naturally evolved beyond traditional training methods toward a holistic, integrative understanding of the horse-human connection. As a seasoned equine bodyworker, she found that while her hands-on techniques brought temporary relief, the root causes of imbalance often persisted—resurfacing once horses returned to the familiar habits and environments shaped by their human partners.

This awareness led Guliz into deeper realms of inquiry and healing. Her exploration of BodyTalk—a system grounded in the interconnection of physical, mental, and emotional bodies—provided the tools to address patterns at their energetic source. Over the course of a decade, she immersed herself in animal communication and energetic healing, applying her work across the globe with polo ponies, elephants, orangutans, and even zoo animals.

Through Equuarius, Guliz teaches that presence is the gateway to healing. Her work invites us to listen more deeply, observe without expectation, and honor the horse as a conscious being capable of guiding profound transformation—when we are willing to meet them in stillness.
